Since 2011, Raleigh Marketplace Ministries has provided weekly Sunday services (8:15–8:45 AM) for the 300+ vendors at the Raleigh Flea Market. Led by representatives from three Baptist churches, the ministry offers worship and outreach before the market opens at 9:00 AM. Over the years, we have consistently witnessed about one person per year come to Christ through this ministry and see an average attendance of 20 weekly.

Lai Salmonson, a member of the Mission Apex team, invites Salem Baptist Church members to participate in the following ways:

Worship Leaders:
Vocalists and instrumentalists needed for Sunday services to lead in three songs.

Missionaries – Outreach, Prayer & Relationship Building:

Distribute invitations, pray with vendors and build relationships through intentional conversations.

Guest Speakers:
Share a brief, 20-minute Bible-based sermon.
