Mike was born and raised here in Apex, NC. He has been married to his wife, Kasey, since 2017. They added their precious daughter, Halle, to their family in 2025. He has attended Salem since he was a sophomore in high school, and after six years of volunteering with the youth, he joined the staff in 2017. Mike serves as the Pastor of Student Ministries.

Mike graduated from the College at Southeastern in 2019 with a Bachelors of Arts in Student Ministry and is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mike is passionate about seeing people place their faith in Jesus, discipling them, and equipping them to disciple others. He loves people and will talk endlessly, especially over a cup of coffee, while playing Minecraft, or just sitting in the living room.
